शक्तिशक्तिमतोर्यद्वदभेदः सर्वदा स्थितः। अतस्तद्धर्मधर्मित्वात्परा शक्तिः परात्मनः॥
śaktiśaktimator yadvad abhedaḥ sarvadā sthitaḥ | atas taddharmadharmitvāt parā śaktiḥ parātmanaḥ

जैसे शक्ति और शक्तिमान् में सदा अभेद रहता है, वैसे ही — धर्म और धर्मी होने के कारण — परा, परमात्मा की शक्ति है।
English
Just as there is always non-difference between a power and the one who holds it, so — being the attribute and its bearer — Parā is the Power of the Supreme Self.
