Beyond Pure and Impure
किञ्चिज्ज्ञैर्या स्मृता शुद्धिः सा शुद्धिः शम्भुदर्शने। न शुचिर्ह्यशुचिस्तस्मान्निर्विकल्पः सुखी भवेत्॥
kiñcijjñair yā smṛtā śuddhiḥ sā śuddhiḥ śambhudarśane | na śucir hy aśucis tasmān nirvikalpaḥ sukhī bhavet

अल्पज्ञ लोग जिस शुद्धि-अशुद्धि की कल्पना करते हैं, वह शम्भु (शिव) के दर्शन में सच्ची शुद्धि नहीं है। वस्तुतः न कुछ शुचि (पवित्र) है, न अशुचि (अपवित्र) — ये केवल मन के विकल्प हैं। इसलिए इन विकल्पों से मुक्त, निर्विकल्प होकर सुखी हो जाओ।
