The Edges of Intense States
क्षुताद्यन्ते भये शोके गह्वरे वा रणाद्द्रुते। कुतूहले क्षुधाद्यन्ते ब्रह्मसत्तामयी दशा॥
kṣutādyante bhaye śoke gahvare vā raṇād drute | kutūhale kṣudhādyante brahmasattāmayī daśā

छींक के अन्त में, गहरे भय या शोक के क्षण में, किसी खड्ड के किनारे, युद्ध या संकट से भागते समय, तीव्र कुतूहल में, या भूख के चरम-अन्त में — इन तीव्र अवस्थाओं के किनारे पर मन एक पल को ठहर-सा जाता है। उसी क्षण की दशा ब्रह्म-सत्ता से परिपूर्ण होती है; उसे पकड़ो और उसमें ठहरो।
