Awareness Is Not in the Pot
घटादौ यच्च विज्ञानमिच्छाद्यं वा ममान्तरे। नैव सर्वगतं जातं भावयनिति सर्वगः॥
ghaṭādau yac ca vijñānam icchādyaṃ vā mamāntare | naiva sarvagataṃ jātaṃ bhāvayan iti sarvagaḥ

घड़े जैसी किसी बाहरी वस्तु का ज्ञान हो, या भीतर उठती इच्छा आदि — इन सबको प्रकाशित करने वाली चेतना वास्तव में उन वस्तुओं या भावों में बँधी हुई नहीं है। यह भावना करो कि वह चेतना तो सर्वगत — सर्वत्र व्याप्त — है; ऐसा भावित करने वाला स्वयं सर्वगत हो जाता है।
