How to practice
- 1Settle and sense yourself as the deep ground of awareness — like water, like fire, like the sun.
- 2Contemplate that every thing and event is a wave of that ground: as waves rise from water, flames from fire, rays from the sun.
- 3See the whole differentiated universe as your own waves — distinct in form, never separate in essence.
- 4Rest as the one from which all the waves rise and into which they fall.
Practice note. Hold the felt unity, not just the idea: the waves are many and real, yet never anything other than the one awareness rising as them.
